Several people have emailed and asked how the Rustoleum paint job is holding up. It's only been about four months since I painted it, but the Corvair lives on the street, in the weather, 24hrs a day. So, there should be some indication of the paint's weathering characteristics.
I washed about a pound of bird poop off, and then ran erands, visited the folks, etc. I took some pics when I got home, and I really can't see -any- difference between when I buffed it out and now. I still haven't gotten around to waxing it.
